We took a trip up to the Samish Flats here in our home state in search of short eared owls this past weekend. Unfortunately we did not find any owls, but we did run across a large group of juvenile and adult bald eagles. I believe the property owner tossed out a bunch of scraps from deer that had been hunted and that attracted the grouping.
